What makes a good listing

  1. Say what it does for people Describe the result, not instructions to the bot: “Summarises school emails each morning” rather than “You are a school email assistant”.
  2. Name what it connects to Mention Gmail, Slack, Calendar and so on. That’s how it shows “Works with” and appears in the service filter.
  3. Say whether it acts or drafts For example “drafts replies for your approval” or “sends a weekly summary”. Listings show what each bot can touch.
  4. Say when it runs When you ask, each morning, or when something happens.
  5. Share it on X A public post with the x.ai/bot link lets people find it, credits you, and records bookmarks.
  6. Give it a distinct name Some names are common: dozens of bots are called “Chief of Staff”.
  7. Write it in English Bot Shelf lists English bots. Others are kept but not shown.

Already listed and something’s wrong? Use “Is this your bot?” at the bottom of its page to ask for a correction or removal.
